What Laser Vein Removal Feels Like
By Christie Holmes
A pulse of laser light from a Brooklyn laser vein removal procedure feels like a small pinch or sting. It feels similar to the snap of rubber band against the skin. No local anesthesia is typically required and the procedure is tolerated well by most Brooklyn residents. A prescription topical anesthetic can be provided for people with very sensitive skin. Following the treatment, the pain is usually minimal or nonexistent. Some Brooklyn patients find the first laser vein treatment more uncomfortable than subsequent treatments. If you feel a stinging sensation during the treatment then your doctor will then provide you with the topical anesthesia which greatly reduces that sensation.
